Wherein I record details and observations from my forays into the snowy woods, onto the water, and other environs.
Oh...I am SO SO SO SO SO Jealous!!!! I would give anything to leave in or near Boston! Great choice for the hunt!My LONG picture is up too! :)
Wow,.. great take on this week's theme. That is a long river! Have a good weekend.
I should have pointed out that the river is nearly 70 miles long, and it starts less than 30 miles from the harbor.
that's funny...I live about 20 miles from Boston, in a northerly direction :-)Great shot and interpretation! Thanks for visiting!
Very cool! Although a marathoner would say that 20 miles isn't long, since a marathon is 26.2. ;)Dragonheart.
long river indeed, thanks for sharing,Mine is up at 4 Seasons and 2 Cents Worth . Hope u can visit me too. Happy Hunting.
Ohh my that is sure a long river!great take for this week theme..http://liza-fluer.us
The river might not be terribly long in the grand scheme of things, but it is certainly a long way to go a short distance.Did you take this shot from a kayak? I think if I lived in a city with a river (or lake--like Seattle has) I would have to own a kayak.
Katney - yes this was taken from my kayak. I spend a fair amount of time exploring the Charles, and the other local rivers, in it. This time of year it's just too cold for that, though.
